Hello Class!

I'll use this blog to post assignments and other important information. I really enjoy teaching reading and writing. I'm looking forward to this semester with you. I hope we can get to know each other as we share our writing and ideas on our blogs. Here's to a great semester!

By Sunday night, you need to do the following things:

1. Create a group blog and follow my blog so I can link to your blog and you can link to each other's blogs.

2. Also, each person in your group should write 7-10 sentences introducing herself on your group blog (What are you likes/dislikes, interests, hobbies?).

By the next class:
3. Buy a slim 30 page notebook for class journals.

4. Buy some index cards with a ring for vocabulary.

Here is an example introduction:

Hi Everyone!

My name is Trey. I have been living in Seoul for a year and 8 months. I am from Boston, Massachusetts. I am a very curious person who enjoys traveling, photography, nature (outdoors), reading, and surfing the web. I really enjoy finding interesting things on the Internet and sharing them with other people. Actually, I have a lot of interests! I enjoy drinking coffee with friends at coffee shops, watching movies, and eating delicious food! The craziest thing I have ever done is skydiving! It was really exciting and actually very peaceful after the first few minutes.
